In 1931 3 Mexicans studying in Atchison, Kansas decided to drive back to Mexico on their summer vacation. As they were passing through Oklahoma three other Mexicans robbed a bank. The students were pulled over by officers, and in a case of mistaken identity, two of the students were shot and killed. One of them was the Nephew of the President of the Republic of Mexico.
